Start your Parks and Gardens Apprenticeship looking after the gardens of your local regional health service provider.
This entry level apprenticeship is perfect for applicants that love working outdoors and want to start their career in horticulture. You'll receive training from a safety focused and supportive team, while working towards your Cert III in Parks and Gardens qualification
Location: Bendigo VIC
Apprenticeship duration: 36 months
Hours of work: 7am - 3:56pm (with 2 RDOs a month)

About the role:
- Prepare new garden sites, plots and soils using hand tools or machines.
- Load, unload and move gardening supplies and equipment.
- Assist in planting and transplanting seeds, bulbs, flowers, shrubs, trees and lawns.
- Operate ride on mowers, whipper snippers and hedge trimmers
- Must be an Australian Citizen or permanent resident with the right to work in Australia
- Minimum completion of Year 10 High School
- Drivers license and reliable transport
- Love working outdoors
- The ability to earn money while learning a trade
- Gain a nationally recognised Certificate III in Parks and Gardens qualification
- Mentoring from experienced industry professionals throughout your apprenticeship
- All training fees and PPE paid for
