The Opportunity:
In partnership with CSL Behring, we have a unique opportunity for an apprentice to complete a Mechanical Engineering Apprenticeship within a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.

The Mechanical Engineering Apprentice will work within the Maintenance Services Mechanical Department which provides maintenance services for production plant and equipment with the aim of keeping the plant in production and minimising down time.

Location: Broadmeadows, Victoria
Duration: 4 Year Apprenticeship
Hours of Work: 7:00am - 3:15pm Monday to Friday

About the role:
- Working with a range of hand and power tools to assist with fault correction, preventive maintenance, and overhaul of plant, as directed
- Operate, test, shut down and start up plant as required for maintenance
- Interpret technical and engineering drawings for work projects
- Assist with performing plant isolation's and work in accordance with requirements for safe work systems including work permits and safety checklists
- Must be an Australian Citizen or permanent resident with the right to work in Australia
- Drivers Licence and reliable transport
- Completion of Year 12 High School is desirable
- Certificate II in Engineering is desirable
- A passion for understanding how machines work
- Receive specialised training in the mechanical engineering trade
- The ability to earn money while learning a trade
- Obtain a Nationally recognised Cert III in Mechanical Engineering qualification
- Mentoring from experienced industry professionals helping you complete your apprenticeship
- All training fees and PPE paid for
