The Opportunity:
Complete your fitter machinist apprenticeship learning from a workshop that has specialized in CNC machining for over 25 years. You'll be part of a small team which will expose you to a variety of work including preparation, maintenance and machining of metal parts used in various projects.
You'll receive training from a safety focused and supportive team while learning an in demand trade.
Location: Airport West VIC
Hours of work: 7am - 3pm

About the role:
- Learn to use manual lathes, mills and CNC machines to produce a range of metal parts and components for aerospace and defense projects
- Basic fitting and maintenance of equipment
- Learn to use a range of hand and power tools
- Learn how to examine and understand detailed drawings and specifications.
- Must be an Australian Citizen or permanent resident with the right to work in Australia
- Minimum completion of Year 11 High School
- Drivers license and reliable transport
- Love working with technology and metal
- Learn an in demand trade
- Gain a nationally recognised Certificate III in Mechanical Engineering qualification
- Mentoring from experienced industry professionals throughout your apprenticeship
- All training fees and PPE paid for
