Are you looking for a Fitter and Turner Apprenticeship working for a well-established company? Ai Group Apprentice and Trainee Centre have a rare vacancy for an Apprenticeship (Certificate III Engineering - Mechanical) with our host company based in Williamstown North.

Our host employer Flotek, is Victoria's leading Hydraulic Services company and are looking for a Fitter and Turner Apprentice.

This can be oily work, so you need to be ok with getting your hands dirty, whilst learning from some of the hydraulic industry's best Technicians. It's a great working environment where everyone works a 9-day fortnight, your contribution is valued, and where you are constantly developing your skills.

Position Details:

Location: Williamstown North VIC 3016
Duration: 4 Year Apprenticeship
Hours of Work: 7:00am-4:00pm Monday to Friday

Requirements: Must be an Australian citizen or have full Australian working rights

About the role: 
  • Servicing hydraulic power units
  • Inspections and repairs on hydraulic cylinders
  • Pressure testing cylinders 
  • Machining 
  • Assisting field and workshop technicians  
Desirable Requirements:

Although this role has no experience required, we have listed some desirable skills and requirements below
  • Must be an Australian Citizen or permanent resident with the right to work in Australia
  • Proactive nature and natural problem-solving skills
  • Be self-motivated, willing to learn and gain experience on hydraulic equipment
  • Strong communication skills – verbal and written
  • Available to work overtime, and occasional weekends when required.
  • Drivers licence and reliable transport
