The Opportunity:
Start your apprenticeship with industry leaders in turnout manufacturing and Rail Engineering. Their expertise spans cutting-edge CAM programming, CNC machining, and precision engineering. You'll learn in demand skills that will set you apart from other apprentices
Location: Pooraka, SA 5095
Duration: 4 Year Apprenticeship
Hours of Work: 6:00am - 3:00pm with early finishes on Friday

About the role:
- Learn the basics of CNC machining including set up and programming.
- Learn to use precision measuring tools (calipers and micrometers) to ensure machined components meet design specs.
- Machine components and assemblies for the rail, agriculture, mining and defense industries.
- Shadow experienced machinists and progress to more advanced operations as your confidence improves.
- Must be an Australian Citizen or permanent resident with the right to work in Australia
- Completion of minimum Year 10 High School
- Drivers Licence and reliable transport
- Love working with metal and with advanced machinery.
- Start your career in advanced engineering
- The ability to earn money while learning a trade
- Obtain a Nationally recognised Certificate III in Mechanical Engineering qualification
- Mentoring from experienced industry professionals helping you complete your apprenticeship
- All training fees and PPE paid for
