Opportunity to complete your electrical apprenticeship in a specialized field as you work alongside skilled employees working on Underground Residential Development (URD) including installation, connections, service and maintenance.
This is not your ordinary electrical apprenticeship, you will gain experience with high voltage cables and terminations and gain skills that are highly desirable within the mining and industrial industry.
Location: Based out of Melrose Park SA
Duration: 4 Year Apprenticeship
Hours of Work: 7:00am - 3:30pm Monday to Friday

About the role:
- Understand electrical, mechanical, and architectural drawings and diagrams to determine job requirements
- Plan and measure the layout of wiring systems
- Test, find, and repair electrical problems
- Connect electrical equipment to power supplies
- Will gain in-depth experience around transformers, terminations, underground connections for new subdivisions, high voltage meters, street light installations and low voltage installations and terminations.
- Must be an Australian Citizen or permanent resident with the right to work in Australia
- Completion of Year 12 High School
- Drivers Licence and reliable transport
- Comfortable working outdoors and in trenches
- Receive specialized training in the electrical trade
- The ability to earn money while learning a trade
- Obtain a Nationally recognised Cert III in Electrotechnology qualification
- Mentoring from experienced industry professionals helping you complete your apprenticeship
- All training fees and PPE paid for
