The Opportunity:

As an Aeroskills Structures Apprentice, you'll be in a role that allows you to design and build from scratch, while ensuring the safety and airworthiness of an aircraft by keeping the structural components in optimal condition.
This is a highly specialized trade that involves the use of high-tech materials and processes.

Duration: 4 year fully paid apprenticeship

About the role:
- Learn all there is to know about maintaining the physical structures that underpin the structural integrity of an aircraft.
- Constructing everything from aerofoils to interior components.
- Work with high-tech materials such as carbon fibre, kevlar and aluminium alloys.
- By the end of your apprenticeship, you’ll have the ability to repair and maintain aircraft systems from a mechanical perspective as well as produce, maintain, modify and repair aircraft using specialist skills that include sheet metal fabrication and bonding of metallic and composite structures.
- Must be an Australian Citizen or permanent resident with the right to work in Australia.
- Completion of minimum Year 10 High School.
- Drivers Licence and access to reliable transport.
- Have strong problem solving, attention to detail, physics and mathematical skills.
- Rare opportunity to work in Aviation.
- Full support from the workshop and a dedicated mentor to help you succeed.
- Obtain a Nationally recognized Cert IV in Aeroskills (Structures).
- All training fees and PPE paid for.
