The Opportunity:
Continue your Mechanical Engineering Apprenticeship with an industry leading, Australian based company that specialises in manufacturing premium equipment and machinery that support Australia's road systems.
You'll receive training from a safety focused and supportive workshop while you fit and assemble the necessary components in the manufacture of bitumen sprayers, dog trailers, melting tanks and spreader boxes. Location: Altona VIC Hours of work: 7am - 3:30pm
About the role:
Learn to operate advanced machinery such as lathes and mills as you turn, mill, drill and complete components within specified dimensions and finish
Cut, thread, bend and install hydraulic and pneumatic pipes and lines.
Carry out maintenance and manufacture components that are used in bitumen handling equipment
About You:
Must be an Australian Citizen or permanent resident with the right to work in Australia
Minimum completion of Year 11 High School
Drivers license and reliable transport
Are a current 2nd or 3rd year mechanical engineering apprentice
