Finn Howard Awarded Global Footprint Scholarship for Renewable Energy Study in New Zealand

We are thrilled to announce that our apprentice Finn Howard, an Electrical apprentice hosted by AGL Energy in Albury, has been awarded a prestigious Global Footprint Scholarship. This award is a testament to Finn’s dedication to his trade and his passion for renewable energy. The scholarship will enable Finn to travel to New Zealand, where he will engage in an immersive learning experience focused on the cutting-edge renewable energy projects operated by AGL. This opportunity will not only broaden Finn’s technical skills but also expand his understanding of sustainable practices within the energy sector.

The Global Footprint Scholarships are unique in Australia, offering overseas work experience exclusively for young people in vocational careers, particularly in trades, agriculture, and horticulture. These scholarships serve as a catalyst for young professionals to gain international experience, learn from the most innovative teams worldwide, and return with fresh ideas and valuable networks to contribute to a better future in their respective industries.
