# The Tea

Coming into my apprenticeship, I thought it'd be all about digging trenches and clearing drains.. Sure, there were days of that. But my supervisor John turned out to be a great mentor. He taught me more than just the work - the why behind the water flow, the hidden leaks, the tricks to make it all function smoothly. Now, I can diagnose problems and find solutions. I can see things most wouldn't notice, and I know I'll be a trusted plumber and could even run my own business in no time.
