Apprentice of the Month – March 2025
We are excited to recognise and highlight Thomas Rusin as our Ai Group Apprentice and Trainee Centre’s Apprentice of the Month for March 2025!
Thomas is a 4th-year apprentice nearing the completion of his Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade, hosted by Gardner Denver Industries in Perth.
From the very beginning of his apprenticeship, Thomas has demonstrated a high level of commitment, professionalism, and an eagerness to learn and grow in his trade.
Service Manager, Michelle from host company Gardner Denver in Perth, has been supporting and monitoring Thomas’s development throughout his apprenticeship and speaks very highly of his progress. She notes that although Thomas is still an apprentice, he has consistently displayed the qualities of a competent and disciplined tradesman—well ahead of schedule.
One of Thomas’s standout attributes is his strong understanding and commitment to work health and safety. He has consistently shown initiative by encouraging safe work habits within his team and consistently promotes a culture of safety even as an apprentice through his leadership and supportive approach.
Thomas is known for being well-mannered, proactive, and respectful—a true team player who contributes positively to the work environment. His work ethic, maturity, and leadership skills set a great example for his peers.
Congratulations, Thomas, on this well-deserved recognition. Your dedication and professionalism continue to impress, and we look forward to seeing your continued success as you transition into a qualified tradesman.
