Apprentice of the Month: February 2022
Jo Corbet
Congratulations Jo Corbet on achieving the Apprentice of the Month for February 2022. Jo has been recognised for her attention to detail, quality of work and work ethic.
Hosted to Conplant in NSW, Jo Corbet, currently completing her Certificate III Automotive Electrical Technology Apprenticeship, achieves all tasks to an exceptionally high standard and is happy to tackle any challenge that is put to her – including Covid-19.
It was during a period of restrictions and lockdown in May last year that Jo started her apprenticeship. Although it was a disruptive and confusing time with many of her colleagues ill or isolating, she remained focused and committed.
Ai Group ATC area manager Mick Power nominated Jo for this month’s award based on some great feedback from her supervisors. Conplant Branch Manager Luke Grubb said she is excelling in her chosen trade and should be congratulated for her efforts.
“Jo plays an active part in all that goes on,” Luke said.
“One of her tasks was ensuring three Mine Spec Machines were completed by a set date and that they all met the spec. During the auditing process, she knew exactly where they were up to and what was needed to complete them.
Well done, Jo, and a massive thank from all of us at Ai Group ATC.
