About the role:
Our host company began in 1980 as a response to the thriving South Australian Wine Industry, requiring bag in box packaging for wine casks. Since then, they have evolved into a business with over 50 employees.
As one of the only remaining Australian companies in the industry, they pride themselves on being Australian designed and engineered, and place great importance on ensuring the innovation of robotics and engineering continues to develop and remain in Australia. Working with various hand tools and machinery your duties may include;
  • Examining and understanding detailed drawings and specifications to determine the requirements for the task
  • Operating and adjusting metalworking machines to create parts or tools by turning, boring, milling, shaping, slotting, grinding, or drilling metal stock or components
  • Using various techniques which include welding, bolting, and riveting to align, assemble, and fix pieces together to create parts and structures
  • Setting up and operating hand and machine tools, welding equipment, and CNC machines
  • Ensuring accuracy and quality of finished parts, tools, or sub-assemblies
  • Possible opportunities to work in Defence and Mining industries
This role is located in Adelaide Airport, working Monday to Friday 7.00am – 3.00pm

About you:
  • Must be an Australian Citizen or permanent resident with the right to work in Australia
  • Minimum completion of Year 10 High School
  • Driver’s License and reliable transport

  • You love working with metal and with advanced machinery
