Corporate Services Traineeship – Local Government

 
Are you looking for a career opportunity working in Melbourne Local Government? Ai Group Apprentice and Trainee Centre have a rare vacancy for a 12 month Traineeship with Monash City Council - Corporate Services

This is a great opportunity for someone with excellent in person customer service skills, great phone manner, and is proficient with computer applications such as Microsoft Office.

Location: Glen Waverley, VIC
Hours of Work: 8:30am-4:30pm Monday to Friday
Duration: 12 month fully paid Traineeship with potential for ongoing employment 

About the role: 

• Rotational program that will give you exposure to Finance, Strategic Procurement, Corporate Performance, Digital & Technology and Governance and Legal departments 
• Responding to phone and email enquiries
• Data entry and database management
• Preparing and processing documents
• Participate in team meetings

About you:

• Must be an Australian Citizen or permanent resident with the right to work in Australia
• Positive nature and natural problem-solving skills
• Be self-motivated, willing to learn and gain experience.
• Strong communication skills – verbal and written
• Computer Skills (Microsoft Office) and ability to learn new programs
