Mechanical Engineering (Machinist) Apprenticeship

Our host company is a South Australian manufacturing and export success story. Evolving from a small scientific laser company to a global leader in medical technologies they are currently looking for an Engineering apprentice to join their team.

This exciting opportunity is ideal for an individual passionate about technology and eager to launch a career in the engineering industry.

The Opportunity:

Location: Mawson Lakes, SA 5095
Duration: 4 Year Apprenticeship
Hours of Work: 7:30am-3:30pm Monday to Friday
Commencement: January 2025

Duties may include:

• Manual milling and turning on conventional lathes and mills
• Assisting with running and maintaining CNC lathes and mills
• Working with cutting machines and sandblasters 

Desirable Requirements:

• Must be an Australian Citizen or permanent resident with the right to work in Australia
• Completion of Year 10 High School
• Drivers Licence and reliable transport
