The Opportunity:
Start your Mechanical Engineering Apprenticeship with E J Hadaway, an Australian owned metal machining specialist. You'll be involved in machining parts for the mining, rail, water, power generation, construction and agriculture industries.
You'll be trained in machining on lathes, mills and CNC machines with exposure to maintenance and modification to onsite machinery.
Location: Dandenong VIC
Duration: 4 year apprenticeship

About the role:
- Learn to use manual lathes and CNC machines to produce a range of parts and components out of metal
- Basic fitting and maintenance of equipment
- Learn to use a range of hand and power tools
- Learn how to examine and understand detailed drawings and specifications.
- Must be an Australian Citizen or permanent resident with the right to work in Australia
- Minimum completion of Year 10 High School
- Drivers license and reliable transport
- Good attention to detail and math skills
- The ability to earn money while learning a trade
- Gain a nationally recognised Certificate III in Mechanical Engineering qualification
- Mentoring from experienced industry professionals throughout your apprenticeship
- All training fees and PPE paid for
